FITNESS RUNWAY MODEL SOUTH AFRICA is all about show casing beautiful people with amazing, healthy and fit bodies. This is not just a bodybuilding show but a platf
orm to showcase women and men who are beautiful, sexy, confident, healthy, well-groomed with amazing bodies - and to top that off dressed by the trendiest fashion brands in South Africa. This is a pageant to show raw talent and a platform for individuals who believe they have what it takes to show an audience how talented and beautiful South Africans are! This will be a spectacular event like no other ever seen in South Africa. FITNESS RUNWAY MODEL SOUTH AFRICA – Male Model TWO ROUNDS: Round one: Beach wear/swimwear round (board shorts / half leg shorts) Round two: Runway round – Designer casual wear (GQ style) Physical criteria: MINIMUM TO ATHLETIC WELL TONED BODY, “MEN’S HEALTH” LOOK ALIKE 2. FITNESS RUNWAY MODEL SOUTH AFRICA – Female Model TWO ROUNDS: Round one: Full piece matching designer swimwear for all ladies Round two: Runway Round – Cocktail dress by chosen fashion designer Physical criteria: MINIMUM TO ATHLETIC WELL TONED BODY, “WOMEN’S HEALTH” LOOK ALIKE 3. FITNESS RUNWAY MODEL SOUTH AFRICA – Fitness Model TWO ROUNDS: Round one: Square cut matching designer shorts by chosen designer Round two: Runway Round – Formal attire by chosen fashion designer Physical criteria: Fitness model contestants are more muscular than model and display proper shape and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall conditioning. This is not a physique contest so extreme muscularity will be marked down. Stage presence and personality is key for fitness model contestants. Judges are looking for the contestant with the next stage presence and poise who can successfully convey his personality to the audience while carrying a more muscular look than a fit looking model. 4. FITNESS RUNWAY MODEL SOUTH AFRICA – Bikini Model TWO ROUNDS Round one: Two piece matching bikini by designer Round two: Runway Round – Evening Gown by chosen designer Physical criteria: Bikini model contestants should have shape to their muscles, but not size, definition or vascularity as in what is seen in a fitness bikini physique. If these are present the contestant will be scored down. 5. FITNESS RUNWAY MODEL SOUTH AFRICA – Physique Model ONE ROUND Round one: Runway model (matching ¾ spandex posing trunks) Physical criteria: This category is for the athlete who is too big to be considered as a fitness model, but does display muscle definition and more size. Physique model men are judged on overall physique – conditioning, overall balance of physique and muscle definition. 6. FITNESS RUNWAY MODEL SA SOUTH AFRICA – Fitness Bikini Model TWO ROUNDS Round one: Two piece bikini by competitor Round two: Runway Round – Theme wear/Gown by chosen designer Physical criteria: Fitness bikini model contestants are being judged on their sense of style, poise, overall beauty and stage presence as well as display a fit and toned physique. Fitness bikini models will be expected to walk on stage in particular pattern, similar to bikini models in order to present themselves as models – just with more muscle definition / size) Fitness bikini models should have shape and size, definition but not too much vascularity as in what is seen in a bodybuilding or figure physique. If these are present the contestant will be scored down. Competitors must be able to present themselves in a classy feminine and tasteful way that is marketable as a model.
