Lerato, meaning love, passion and song of my soul, grew up in South Africa before moving to New York. From an early age she was listening to Johnny Clegg, Jimmy Cliff, Stevie Wonder and Stevie Ray Vaughn. These influences introduced her to the essence of soul and laid the foundation for her own music.

We have enjoyed an amazing four months showcasing a diverse mix of artists, musicians and poets in a free welcoming community building space. In doing so exposing a wide range of audiences to a multitude of talent while encouraging and supporting artists. We are in gratitude to everyone who has supported this project and we should all be proud of what we have created together. Thank you. It is with this in mind that we are taking a break for the next three weeks to recharge and reflect and will return in August with exciting new events and projects. Huge thank you to Ze-ev Krein, Richard Cantor, Adam Affuta, Moshe Singer, Lizzie Cornwell and a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has supportedl!! xx
