A fantastic first 3 days with large numbers of excited learners and educators learning new things, playing games, holding bugs, looking down microscopes and even tasting caterpillars.
The 45 exhibits offered plenty of interest. We look forward to the next 2 days sharing our passion for the amazing world that is our home. Dont miss the great lectures we have lined up.
At 10:30 on Saturday Julie Coetzee will tell us how a tiny insect is making a huge difference to the problem of water hyacinth.
At 11:30 You can hear about bats. These fabulous mammals whose small size is no indication of the giant role they play.
At 10:30 on Sunday you can get some tips on gardening to promote birds and insects.
At 11:30 there will be Mopani worms prepared in a traditional way and some teas from the veld to taste.
It is free and everyone is welcome.
