Our SA Meets Australia Reception brought together Australian artists, delegates and industry leaders for an evening of connection, collaboration and cultural exchange.

From meaningful conversations to unlocking new connections, it was a celebration of the growing relationship between the Australian and African music industries. In partnership with TikTok and .emea, ARMC brought together and for an insightful discussion on building sustainable artist brands in the digital age.

From data-driven decision-making and reactive marketing to monetisation, official sound optimisation and TikTok for Artists, the panel explored how artists can create an always-on music story that extends far beyond a single release.

They offered practical insights into navigating today’s evolving music landscape while building meaningful and lasting audience connections.

From driving our international delegation, and artists like MÖRDA () to creating an interactive zone on the Constitution Hill lawns where anyone could experience and explore the Jaecoo J7 firsthand, we are driving music culture forward with our official transport partner as all roads lead to Eswatini 🇸🇿

Extending beyond the conference, ARMC is on its way to Eswatini with to participate in cultural exchange, industry roundtables, and networking.

From driving our international delegation, and artists like MÖRDA to creating an interactive zone on the Constitution Hill lawns where anyone could experience and explore the Jaecoo J7 firsthand, we are driving music culture forward with our official transport partner as all roads lead to Eswatini for the annual festival🔥🔓

Extending beyond the conference, ARMC is on its way to to participate in cultural exchange, industry roundtables, and connection. Artists and delegates including , .ring, and many more international and local musicians who were part of ARMC will also be featured across the MTN Bushfire program through roundtables and live performances on stage.

What a weekend at ARMC 2026 🔥

We officially wrapped at Constitution Hill after two powerful days of future-focused conversations, international collaboration, cultural exchange and unforgettable music moments. We’re excited to announce new dates for 2027 so mark your calendars for the 21st & 22nd May 2027 🔐 Tickets are now live in the link in bio and we can’t wait to host you again!

ARMC 2026 brought together over 1000 artists, executives, creatives, entrepreneurs and policymakers from more than 15 countries to shape the future of African music and create real opportunities for artists across the continent.

This year our partnerships grew and resulted in the launch of the AI Think Tank, a Music Mentorship Program for South African Artists in collaboration with the German Embassy Pretoria, we created new international creative collaborations and longstanding networking opportunities that will continue to connect African artists to global markets. Day 2 at the Africa Rising Music Conference was packed with powerful conversations, networking and unforgettable music moments.

From a mental health and wellness panel by in collaboration with to a masterclass on rights and revenues, artist development, an innovative discussion on The AI think Tank presented by .aixchange and .idmt to conversations on AI in the creative industries, we explored Meta audience growth in a session presented by and the Australia music market spotlight, the day brought together some of the brightest minds shaping the future of music across Africa and beyond.We met the pros in the music industry and facilitated a speed networking session, creating access to opportunities and information for the career focused creatives at ARMC.

The lunch break turned into a live experience with performances by and the , and bringing a different state of energy to the crowd.

The SA Meets Australia reception was about building cultural bridges before ARMC By Night presented by took over. Open mic moments lit up the room, including another standout performance from , followed by live electronic DJ sets from , , , , , and who kept us dancing into the early hours of the morning.

Huge Thanks to every VIP guest, attendee, speaker, artist, delegate, partner( .sa .water ), the individuals and the Officials for collaborating and joining the ARMC movement, thank you to the team at Constitution Hill () and to everyone who has helped us bring this vision to life, celebrate and drive African music, culture and Africa forward.

Speaking On the panel, “ Purpose Driven Leadership & Collaboration”, Ifeoma ( ) shares valuable insights on how creatives and creative professionals should approach pitching to brands for colaborations, emphasizing brand values and shifting the culture as being the most important factors to consider before approaching or pitching tol AT? brands like Don Julio, a brand distributed by Diageo.

In an interview she’s asked what she had to learn on her own, Ifeoma answered being a leader and working with others. She also mentions that people are more interested in how much you care than how much you know and highlights the importance of intention and intuition.

ARMC Day 1 Highlghts: you HAD to be there ‼️

Speaking on the panel, “The Future of Culture & Communities online” artist and TikToker Khanyisa Jaceni ( ) reflected on people’s social media attitudes and online behavior and how that influenced the creative space, comparing between her early days as a content creator who went viral to where we are today and where we are going now with AI in the conversation.
