Following the launch of our Mentorship Programme in collaboration with and the German Embassy Pretoria, () we’re excited to introduce Michelle Galleta, founder of CURA, () who will be working closely with selected artists throughout the programme, sharing her knowledge and experience to help them develop their projects and advance their careers.

Recapping a successful 2026 ✨

At this year’s A2IM Indie Week, Africa Managing Director and Founder .nicholson , facilitated the roundtable International Market Overview: South Africa, creating a networking space for attendees to engage in meaningful conversations and connect directly with different international markets.

Representing South Africa, SJ shared insights into the local music industry ecosystem, with discussions ranging from market overviews and strategies for engaging with the market beyond DSPs, to the importance of having a physical presence, language considerations, popular genres, touring opportunities, and more.

The session sparked valuable conversations, fostered important new connections, and highlighted the growing opportunities for international collaboration with South Africa’s music industry.

The Demo Lab At ARMC 2026 presented by Turnkey Music & Multimedia () wasn’t just a showcase of music tech and equipment found at South Africa’s biggest music producer store. It became a space where connections happened and music came to life in real time, bringing a collective of creatives together beyond the music.

By creating direct access to professional music instruments, technology and equipment, the Demo Lab helped spark meaningful creative collaborations that started with a simple opportunity for artists to engage, explore, and create. We look forward to building on these moments and welcoming even more creators, collaborators and industry innovators to the Demo Lab experience at ARMC 2027.
