Mattric Events introduces the International Motor & Music Festival, a premium event in support for charity that will take place at the Cape Town Stadium in Green Point on 23 & 24 November 2019.

The event is packed with family entertainment. Double Formula 1 champion, Mika Häkkinen, will be setting foot in South Africa for the first time and will be on our centre-stage. We will also welcome the one and only, the original — Stig — live. Music acts include some of South Africa’s greatest singers and bands, comedians and a lot more rising talent for all concert lovers.

The world’s most iconic exotic motorcar and motorcycle clubs have been invited to exhibit their most prized collectables, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, McLaren, Bentley, Harley Davidson and loads more. Various cars and motorcycles will be on display — from the classic and vintage, to the custom and modern! Our expert judges will reward the top motorcars, motorcycles and even trucks across 28 categories.

We’ll be giving away loads of prizes to visitors and exhibitors, including double tickets to the Spanish grand prix with travel, accommodation and spending money, as well as Sun Vacation mid-week and weekend family holidays for up to 6 people each at Sun City, passenger rides in a Lamborghini or Ferrari, JVC flat screen TV, as well as cool items for the most wacky-dressed.

The exotics will go head-to-head to try to beat each other’s times on our gymkhana race track, 0-100km/h dash and the Stig himself will put in his fastest lap times and see how other professionals and car clubs compete.

South Africa’s top drifting drivers will drop their clutch and burn rubber – with visitors having the opportunity to join them in the front passenger seats.

The event offers a carnival atmosphere with magician and clown shows, aerial acts, dancers, flamethrowers, jugglers, unicyclists, mime artists, stilts and even South Africa’s Silver Falcons, who will be wowing us with flyovers.

And if that’s not enough, F1 and race car simulators present for racing enthusiasts, plus teenagers can marvel at major gaming demos, families witness our High School talent search contestants and there will be tickets on sale for the rare opportunity to drive in a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche super-car as a passenger! Guest acts includes Radio’s very own celebrity MCs live who will own the stage.

For the little ones, they will be safe and entertained at a supervised and dedicated play village filled with animators, jumping castles, jungle gyms, cartoon characters and face painters, as well as be involved with fun competitions and games.

You also won’t want to miss corporate exhibitors displaying their latest model launches, licensed products and original accessories. There will be loads of craft vendors, gourmet food and multiple beer tents. Don’t miss out!
