Mafikeng saw the inaugural Maftown Marathon with 42,21 and a 5 k fun walk/run spilling into its streets. Fast and flat was the promise but in truth it was quite hard!
Lovely weather and for a first a great experience despite a number of hiccups. Of course we brought inclusion to re run by showcasing Mongoose through participation of Onthusitse Monametsi

Recently we participated in a nice village run KO Springbokpan. Inclusive running means also to make running accessible to deprived communities. A local has made it her mission to uplift her village with an annual fun run. It was lovely indeed! Here some pics...

A massive event...if you're somewhere near there please attend

We are so excited to be trucking the massive MedBull Challenge to the stadium today! This wheelchair obstacle course is a set of 11 massive obstacles set up circuit style. Wheelchair users tackle as many as they can in 2 minutes, scoring a point for each one. Obstacles include mega ramps with gradients of 1:5 off 1.3m elevated platforms, 180 degree burns, seesaws, bridges and tunnels- it is not for the faint hearted and tests wheelchair users strength, stamina, skills and courage to the max! Non-wheelchair users are also welcome to try it and we will have wheelchairs on loan for this purpose on the day.
Come see real sports men and woman tackle this massive course at 11am at Shayina stadium on 11 October 2025!
