Meet Our Facilitator Nicole Tromp!
-Nicole is a creative, outgoing, risk taking facilitator. She loves working with the youth of South Africa and loves meeting people from all walks of life
-Nicole is a 2016 3rd year Theatre and Performing Arts student majoring in Directing and Writing at the University of Witswatersrand.
-Nicole was also invited to become a member of the prestigious Golden Key Society in 2015.
-She has worked in many productions as an actor, writer, director, lighting technician, crew member and stage manager.
-Nicole is currently an Afrikaans home-school teacher for grades 10 and 12.
-Nicole has been a modern dancer for four years and has previously also done Movement, Physical Theatre and Hip-Hop and has recently started tap dancing.
-Nicole was involved in the National Eistedford from 2004-2013 receiving over 15 Golds and 20 Diplomas for her performances in English and Afrikaans poetry, Comedic and Dramatic monologues as well as Mime.
-Nicole was invited to the Young Performers awards from 2010-2013 receiving between 81-94% for her performances. She has also received item and category winner awards as well as being placed 10th in the Randburg top 10 in 2011.
-During her High school career Nicole was involved in various drama activities as well as house plays for 4 years. In her grade 11 year she wrote and directed her Houseplay and received Best Director, Writer, Set Design and Best Play.
-Nicole is also studying the academic discipline of Psychology and is applying for honours in Journalism in 2017.
