THURSDAY NIGHT DELIVERED THE DRAMA!

If anyone thought midweek water polo would be predictable, Thursday night at Wahoo Aquatic Centre had other ideas!

The evening opened with a thrilling deadlock as 🤽‍♂️ Crusaders and 🤽‍♂️ Wahoodlums couldn’t be separated, sharing the spoils in an exciting 8–8 draw.

🤽‍♂️ Old Ed’s put together a strong performance against Edenvale, securing an 8–3 victory, while the final match of the night went right down to the wire. 🤽‍♂️ Florida edged out CGA U16 by a single goal in a hard-fought 7–6 contest, proving that every possession counts.

This past Sunday, the U15 Girls Winter League at Wahoo Aquatic Centre was buzzing with energy, excitement, and plenty of smiles! From fierce competition in the pool to the fun and creativity on display, the atmosphere was incredible.

We especially loved the minions theme and the banana floaty making an appearance — proving that while the girls are working hard, giving their all, and growing their game, there is always room for fun, laughter, and team spirit too! 💛🍌🤽‍♀️

From introducing beginners to the sport through their Learn to Polo programme, to already having players participating in the EGSWP U13 Winter Tournament, Panthers are showing how important development pathways are in growing the game.

Creating opportunities for children to learn, enjoy, and compete in water polo is what helps build the future of our sport, and it is wonderful to see clubs like Panthers investing in young players and creating a positive environment for them to thrive.
