So a conversation a few weeks ago sees me going from Clifton to Barley in the UK.
I often sit back and wonder how the hell do I get to meet some of the most interesting characters as well as the most controversial 😆😆
Here I am now on the payroll at Condor Aviation…The owner and aviation maverick seems to think he can benefit from my skill set?
I’m truly humbled to work with some of aviations greats, one of the guys on the team is Alex Ellen who was instrumental in the rotor head rotor blades and tail rotor configuration on the legendary Lynx Helicopter.
Now Barry Jones was a dreamer and he has taken deposits for this aircraft without a clue on how to make it fly 😳
Condor aviation and the team will now bring this to life, again I’m humbled in the company I keep of late, think tank meetings get me reaching for my scientific calculator and not a flight suite.
That will all change very soon as Martyn Wiseman has commissioned yous trully to spearhead the project 😁with his full support

Yes radials such as Rotec have brought disrepute to the concept in the past but we are playing in a different league.
If you have ever dreamed of a 1920’s aviation biplane tail dragger you’re now following the right crowd.
We are a going to bring some nostalgic flare to the game, Radials are cool ….ask any fixed wing Pilot he will tell you a tail dragger is sexy and cool …add a radial and it’s off the charts
For me it’s just another chapter in my ever evolving aviation hobby, game, pastime, I can’t say job now can I 🤣

My responsibility is to assist and to do the test flying and scribe the PoH
I will be assisted by J V Rensburg Rainier ex SAAF Rooivalk pilot and jet pilot who is also upbeat about the project that lays ahead.
Initially I have convinced Condor to build to BCAR-T Certified two seater side by side and this prototype will be tested by myself before first quarter 2026. It’s already on the drawing board.
