Following the success of Cellarbake@Nitida 2014, the ever-innovative Nitida Cellars will be hosting their second annual bake and wine pairing festival on Sunday 22 March, 2015. Set in the beautiful Durbanville Winelands, Nitida - together with its resident restaurant and wedding venue, Cassia - will be hosting a plethora of Cape Town’s finest artisanal bakers. This decadent dream-team will celebra
te their signature sweet and savoury bakes, paired with Nitida’s multi-award winning wines. The indulgent occasion, running from 11am to 6pm, offers an array of activities for the whole family. For just R100, visitors can sample their choice of 5 baked items, each paired with Nitida handmade wines and MCCs. Featuring live music from renowned local band Newton & Co, the day will also offer a variety of exhibitors and interactive stalls - full of wedding and baking ideas! For creative individuals, there is an option to enjoy some hands-on cupcake decorating, too. You can also bask in a lazy-day picnic next to the scenic farm dam with family and friends. Fill your picnic basket with your choice of treats from the variety of food and drink stalls, and add a bottle of your favourite Nitida wine. Tickets are available through Webtickets at a cost of R100 per person, or R50 for those who wish to taste the baked goods without the wine pairing.
