A little throwback

Looking at these photos side by side is quite something.

From rolls on the floor and pallet jacks… to high racking, reach trucks and rows and rows of finished goods.

At the time, each change just felt like the next thing that needed to be done. More space. Better flow. More stock. More movement.

Only when you look back do you realise how much has actually changed.

Still the same Morgancoat though - just with a few more rolls, a few more trucks, and a lot more happening every day. 💚

At the end of 2025, we kept a secret at Morgancoat.

While the team thought we were preparing for a year-end function, we were actually preparing something else — a surprise Long Service Awards celebration.
Because we wanted to celebrate one of our greatest competitive advantages: our people.

We revealed a wall that told our story in the most powerful way — through the faces of those who have grown with us:
• 15 years or more
• 10 years or more
• 5 years or more
Displayed in order of employment.
When the curtain came down, there were a few quiet moments. The kind where you step back and realise that businesses aren’t built by machines or strategies alone — they are built by people who show up, year after year.

44 trophies were handed out.

But what we were really recognising was loyalty, resilience, pride and shared growth.

Today, ROTOCON held its second ‘Networking Session’ at Cape Village Lodge in Durbanville, bringing together suppliers and customers for a luncheon.

This event not only highlighted ROTOCON’s extensive product and service range but took the opportunity to gather insights from customers and suppliers about their primary challenges, aiming to tailor solutions and enhance their services. “Meetings like these allow us to improve and ensure we provide the right components for your business success,” comments ROTOCON group CEO Michael Aengenvoort.

Allan Musakwa, head of sales and customer services, gave an overview of ROTOCON’s offerings, including machines, quality control upgrades, efficiency improvements, and tooling. He emphasised the critical role of regular tool and die maintenance for optimal performance.

Stuart Baylis, operations director at Polyflex Premedia, delivered a concise presentation on the Extended Colour Gamut (ECG). Highlighting the significant cost factor of ink, Stuart explained how Polyflex’s ECG provides a sustainable solution in this area.

Pascal Aengenvoort, ROTOCON’s sales director, remarks: “We offer our customers and suppliers a turnkey solution. We’re more than just agents for international brands. When we import a machine, we ensure it feels like a local purchase through comprehensive services including regular consultations, maintenance, expert advice, and quality tooling. Our suppliers are hand-selected to guarantee consistent quality.”

Key industry players such as Synchron Markings , PLP Labels, Polyflex Premedia, and Morgancoat - Pty ltd attended the event.
