We're always excited to match artists to opportunity here at the Collective!
We recently sat down and had a sesh between shots with the busy Model Ayanda Zwalo at the amazing and recently opened in Umhlanga. We took notes📝and had so much fun🎊.
⚫The one thing you've learnt being in the modelling industry so far?
Ayanda: You cannot drop the ball; you need to keep yourself busy. Jobs don't come along everyday so when it's quiet, you have something to keep you going. Discipline is your bread and butter. You must commit to the lifestyle; health is literally wealth. It’s not about how you look but, more about how you see yourself and then working from there.
⚫Where do we stalk and follow you on the socials?
Ayanda:
Facebook Zwalo
⚫How does it feel to monetize your passions and skill?
Ayanda: It feels good when you find something you love doing and get paid to do it, there's satisfaction you feel it's very encouraging.
⚫Your message to Phezulu-Phambili followers?
Ayanda: My message to Phezulu Phambili followers is very simple. If you don't fight, you'll never win. You'll get something from trying but never from giving up.
⚫Biggest business lesson learnt so far?
Ayanda: Don't get comfortable, never forget why you started and keep the passion you had when you started your adventure. You will fail but that's when you must fight.
⚫Health tips for us?
Ayanda: With health it's one step at a time but that's when you must... once again... fight. Do the workouts. Keep your body and mind ready for the next gig.
⚫Your dream for your future?
Ayanda: I never thought I wanted to try my hand at acting but right now if I'm being honest, I'd love to do some acting. I'd love to work with Ralph Lauren and do some work in Japan.
