What a DAY!!!! We could not be happier as we did not expect it to be this amazing and this big.
Magic happens when a community comes together. We truly feel that we are making history together. It would not be possible without over 20 incredible people on the team where every single one of them did the best they could, the massive support of the community and the crowd that gathered at Mystic House Cape Town.
Even the weather gods were on our side - the wind was super strong and the swell was huge.
The atmosphere on the beach, on the ground of the house, among the team was absolutely amazing and full of love and support for the females.
We can clearly see that girls deserve a serious place in this sport, they can go huge and the community is behind them.

What a show the girls put on yesterday. We have made history with this first Big Air female contest. We are extremely proud of them all. Lithuanian Gabrielė Pioraitė the mastermind of High Five , Kite Surf School & Outdoor Adventures took amazing 3rd place. The incredible progression she is making over here is great to watch, pulling off huge loops. 2nd place Pippa van Iersel Kitesurf representing the Netherlands Duotone Kiteboarding International and ION - this young blood pulled off some late backroll kiteloops and left us all wonder what more this multitalented girl can do. 1st place was secured by some extreme moves that left the crowd absolutely stunted - Angely Bouillot from France representing CORE Kiteboarding ANEO WeRide Leucate KITE SURF Leucate KSL was on fire.

The 24th still looks like a possible D day. We are getting lot of support and the appreciation of being part of this amazing community is overwhelming. We all,including you, are part of something special thanks to this sport. As a whole, we have power in our hands to push the sport in the right direction and inspire many more to hop on this amazing ride. The main goal of this gathering is to use this power and inspire girls around the globe to train and push big air discipline because there is space to grow and brands, shops, riders are all behind this new movement.
PS: At the end of the day we would like to finish in a big session all together - We are going to dress up so should you 👊🙃
