A dynamic, family orientated day marks the beginning of a new genre of corporate team building days. Corpfam was conceptualized by former Western Province cricketer, Ryan Maron, and well known Cape Town chef, Jean Nel.

“The idea stemmed from my original aim of offering corporate cricket days,” said Ryan, “Jean and I fused the idea of sport and cooking and decided it would be the perfect solution

to an innovative and productive team building session.”

Well known Supersport broadcaster Jeremy Fredericks will team up with the relevant personnel on the day and entertain your clients/family members as the Master of Ceremony… Jeremy is well known throughout South Africa within the sporting circle and his experience in the game of cricket over the past two decades speaks volumes! Companies can choose from a variety of activities including sport, cooking, children’s entertainment, pony rides, helicopter-flips and even beauty treatments. The ‘day’ can be tailored to the profile and needs of companies across the board. According to Jean what makes Corpfam unique is that the entire family can share the experience of the day. The activities are designed to encourage employees and their families to work together, as a team.

“Men can learn to make sushi and women can partake in a game of cricket or tag rugby whilst their kids are kept entertained by a variety of “fit & fun” activities , cricket/rugby/soccer/hockey coaching and games, and we also mix the teams to add some spice!” said Jean. Ryan Maron founded the Ryan Maron’s Cricket School of Excellence in 1999 and runs nationwide clinics in affluent schools and disadvantaged areas in South Africa as well as the Netherlands. Ryan’s commitment to children and social responsibility has led him to join forces with The Maurit’s Van Nierop Foundation (www.mauritsvannieropfoundation.com). The Foundation, aims to provide township kids with the opportunity to get active and healthy minded. Ryan, Jeremy and Jean will coordinate and run the days, providing top quality catering and service as well as branded clothing, prizes and trophies for each company.
