Good luck to everyone taking on the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon this weekend.

We kindly urge all cyclists to please stay off the roads where the marathon passes through the city. Come out, cheer loudly and support the runners, but leave the bikes at home to help reduce traffic and congestion along the route.

Early bird entries for the 2027 Cape Town Cycle Tour, taking place on Sunday, 14 March 2027, are officially open. This is your chance to get ahead of the crowds and secure your place on the start line at 2026 pricing.

* PPA Membership (2026/2027) is available at last year’s rate
* 2027 Cape Town Cycle Tour entry fees are locked at 2026 prices

This early bird window is limited to the first 3000 entries, or closes on 2 April 2026, whichever comes first.

General entries for the 2027 Cape Town Cycle Tour will open in September, but if you know you’ll be back, this is the time to make it official.
