Bongani is a Grade 10 learner at Indwe High School in Mossel Bay. He is 15 years old and joined The Surfer Kids NON-Profit in May 2019 and in 2021 started attending classes at the Bitcoin Ekasi Center where he now plays a key role in maintaining the centre and assisting the teacher with technical support.

In October 2023, Bongani completed The Bitcoin Standard, by Saifedean Ammous and he is currently studying Why Buy Bitcoin, by Andy Edstrom, under the mentorship of Jason Branscum.
