𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 | 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝

On Sunday 2 March 2025, the Divine Service was conducted by CEV Andrew Louw , who called up Priest Mark Thys to serve along.

The Bible text used for the divine service was from: Psalm 107:19–20 with the heading: “God heals all suffering.”

"Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞:

God helps human beings in their distress and wants to save them.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:

• God wants to help human beings in need.
• He wants human beings to live and not die.
• God can heal all human suffering.
• This requires faith and a willingness to repent.

Let us remain mindful that even if we are feeling helpless, God is always there with His helpful hand. We just need to ask

On Sunday, 2 February 2025, CEV Rector Andrew Louw conducted the Confirmation Divine Service. The Bible text for this festive service was Philippians 2:4.

Before the celebration of Holy Communion, the Rector called the Confirmands to the Altar. He shared words of encouragement, read a letter from the Chief Apostle and prepared them for their confirmation blessing.

After the service the group celebrated with photos and fellowship, marking the start of their journey as commited young believers

Monday 27 January 2025 District Apostle Peter Lambert engaged with all ministers via audio visual technology. This meeting was live streamed from the congregation of Claremont. District Apostle shared the Bible word from the book of Corinthians 9 verse10

Nooitgedacht congregation confirmands, Rector ,Rector helper and confirmation teacher was well received at the home of Priest Keith and Heidi Witbooi yesterday. The confirmands had a fun day which ended with a potjiekos competition. Congratulations to the girls who won on a fine margin. They experienced the most memorable day which they can take with them into the Young People Group.
