Buddies Night Out, Cape Town’s favorite LGBTQ+ pop-up party A LGBTQ+ event. The much loved annual pop-up party in Cape Town is back again for its 10th year!

Since 2012 it has grown to become a loved and enjoyed event by those who live in Cape Town and those who visit. In keeping with tradition, we try get ALL our buddies, and buddies of buddies, and buddies of buddies of buddies together for a drink or 10. The idea is to “PAY IT FORWARD” and invite all the friends you would love to see, (Especially those you haven’t seen for ages, those you not talking to, those who have unfriended you, those that are in town for season only, those you have a secret crush on or just those you just wanna bang in the future or even those you have banged in the past…but still want to see.) Basically the idea is simply to make an effort to see all your buddies and have a drink with friends OLD and NEW...Remember to PAY IT FORWARD and invite your mates and get them to invite their friends
- the more the merrier of course! IMPORTANT:
This is a Pop up event. It's not a theme party. The night is about having a drink at a suitable venue, seeing mates, talking kak and having a good time. FINAL NOTE:
Please be responsible, NO DRINKING AND DRIVING. Take an Uber home

🪩 KATY’S PALACE
The bigger dance floor with dance classics, disco, big vocals and party anthems.
Tables available for 4, 8 & 10.

🎤 SIR JAMES
A more intimate space with old-school classics, familiar favourites and massive sing-alongs.
Tables available for 4, 6, 10 & 12.

Of course, you’re free to move between both floors all night — but your table gives you a home base in the vibe you love most. 💙
