It was so good to be part of the Shiba San party on saturday :) Thank you Strange Loving and The Warehouse Movement. The DJs were on fire all night... Thank you Audiojerk, Spaceman & Emoutikon...its safe to say the BNKR floor was a hit.

Spaceman is wedging his techno in between AudioJerk and Emoutikon on Saturday night at the Shiba San party, which is happening at the Dragon Room. The honour of closing the BNKR with Black Void Musik floor goes to the Black Void label boss, Emoutikon. He's had an incredible year and is continuing his push of groovy techno in the mother city by booking big gigs and releasing high quality music with his imprint. He's graced the same lineup as Egbert and Hernan Bass, and next weekend he'll be closing for Alberto Ruiz at ERA. Catch Emoutikon on the BNKR floor this saturday at the Strange Loving party, 2am is his set time, it will be a set not to miss.

Please welcome a new fresh duo, Empire, comprising of Blake Wilkins and Deep Vader. They'll be warming the floor for Kyle Maclean, a very talented local techno producer. The honour of the closing set goes to a veteran and collector with a diverse music range, Airwalker. See you in the BNKR folks.

BNKR is back with another Friday the 13th. The second of three this year. It's often associated with bad luck, scary movies and dress up parties. For us it's just another week of really really ridiculously good techno. This week BNKR resident Spaceman aka Calvin Dely will be warming the floor for the techno maestro, Fabio. Fabio has been pushing the techno sound for decades and has been integral for it's growth in the country. ToyToy (in Johannesburg) founded by Fabio and Dogstarr is without a doubt one of the most successful underground clubs in the country. It has hosted some of the biggest DJs in the world...offering South Africa a slice of the most cutting edge international sounds on one of the best club sound systems in the country. As a resident there he has liberty to mould the energy and flow of the evening week in week out. Experience like this is something that can't be bought. Fabio (also one third of Digital Rokit) recently played at BNKR after CTEMF to a packed out club and, musically, this was one of the most envelope-pushing nights we have had. This is one set not to miss. Lastly, but not least, the honour of closing goes to an immensely talented local techno producer, Kyle Maclean. See you in the BNKR!

BNKR is ending off a week of heat with some more heat. PJ the DJ is warming things up, followed by ESA (HIGHLIFE Recordings, UK) who will be bringing the international flavour, and to close, another BNKR debutant, John Vicious. Come dance!

We've got an exciting lineup for you this Friday. Mr Hello Techno, B-Type, returns to the BNKR again for a 3 hour opening set. Then we have Kanan K7 throwing down his signature sound for the peak set followed by a Joburg local who's been making a great name for himself overseas, Rob Sloan. Come on down to the BNKR for a jam!

We can't say more about the artists involved, as they are playing at another big festival. But we can say that we've wanted them in BNKR for a long while and come Friday after CTEMF, the little techno dungeon is going to be torn to pieces.
