❤️✨🎩 What a privilege it is to be invited as a lecturer at the South African East Rand Magic Society's magicians' convention in August.

I'm looking forward to sharing some tips and tricks. Twenty years as a full-time magician have taught me a lot!

🎓 My lesson for you today is that if you are still in school and interested in becoming a magician one day, and someone asks you if you are going to be a magician when you are grown up , always reply that you can't do both.😉

For a moment... a short one. I felt like a rock star. 😎😊😁 Enjoy a short video clip... I love my job!

I always need to remind myself that there was a stage in my developmental years when I could not speak like this, and I clearly remember a teacher and children making fun of me.
There is a saying by Bill Gates : "Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one." I can apply this to my performance tonight if you take it into context. 😉

Yes, 1... 2... 00 people will be in the audience tonight!
How nervous am I?
ZERO!
Not because I'm the best performer in the world ; it's because I have, in plain Afrikaans, made my "G*T" so many times in the past 20 years as a full-time magician and learned from it every time!
Tonight will be a great success, but guess what? I will still learn some valuable lessons.
My point is... If I can do it , you can do it! Remember, as a child/teen, I could never speak in front of an audience...
