JOSEPH’S STORY

Joseph Chikwenhere is a Driftwood Sculptor, and is currently living in South Africa. He is following in the footsteps of his forefathers who were prominent wood carvers and sculptors. He adopted the ability and technique to work and read shapes to make unique driftwood sculptures. He moved to South Africa in 2009 where he has furthered and developed his driftwood carving and sculpt

ing kills, producing products that brought complete satisfaction to a lot of driftwood sculptures collectors. Joseph currently works with driftwood from the rivers, dams, swamps and lakes from Namibia, Malawi, South Africa and Zimbabwe. His work has been displayed in a number of Art Galleries in South Africa. Exhibitions
