Africa’s first Abbott World Marathon Major didn’t happen because of one person. It happened because hundreds of Club and Crew Captains rallied their runners, year after year, and refused to let be just a hashtag. 🇿🇦

Now it’s 2027, and the job isn’t done. We’re looking for the next wave of Club Captains to carry that same energy into our first year as a Major. 📢

What you’ll be doing: keeping your club in the loop, showing up for your runners, and repping your crew’s gazebo on race day. What you’ll get in return: a ticket to the Friday night Welcome Function, first access to race news before anyone else, and a direct line to activations with adidas, Sanlam and more. 💙

The 5km and 10km Peace Runs are open to all abilities 🏃, while the Cape Town Trail Runs offer stunning off-road routes through the most diverse floral kingdom in the world 💐🏔️.
