Cannon Rocks Kiteboarding Classic

Local Kitesurfer , Duncan Boucher , saved 3 lives at Sardinia Bay. Friday Afternoon . A group of 3 young people decided to walk in the shallow water to the rocks , on an incoming tide , on the way back they got washed into deeper water by the strong current which is a result of the very strong wind today . They were noticed by Duncan, who saw them on the rocks . He was very concerned of the danger so he kept an eye on them , . When he no longer saw them walking in the shallows he immediately went to their rescue.

As you all gathered, the Cannon Rocks Kiteboarding Classic had to take a break this year. The Dune has taken over the car park and local authorities are in status quo about doing something about it. This makes it impossible to hold the event true to it's past standards. However the spirit of the Cannon Rocks Kiteboarding Classic lives on. Next Sunday (29th October) seems like a good easterly forecast and we will be holding a social gathering here in Cannon Rocks. No contest no entry fee no ambulances just a fun get together. Maybe we organise a photographer.
