Dear parkrunners

We would love to appeal for new volunteers.

parkrun is free but we rely on our weekly volunteers to keep it going every Saturday.

It would be so, so sad if you arrive at a parkrun and it is canceled due to lack of volunteers.

Trained can be arranged,it's not difficult and so rewarding. Ask any of the volunteers who help. Giving back to the community. The appreciation of the runners and walkers make you feel appreciated.
On days you do not volunteer,take time to thank them please.

Our appeal is so that the ones who do ,get to also enjoy the run.

I'd also like to see new faces in the different roles.

eg you can be timekeeper one week, the next time parkwalker. The following week a running photographer. Or Run Director the one week and tailwalker the next time.
