Each week, we’re sharing one of Bathurst’s must-visit spots — and this week, we’re heading up the hill to the Toposcope ⛰️.

This scenic heritage site offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Eastern Cape and tells the story of the 1820 settlers who first arrived here. Bronze plaques around the site mark the names and ships of the settler parties, forming a compass that points to their original settlement locations.
