MERRIJIG CAMPDRAFT MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
The Merrijig Campdraft is excited to host Van Der Stoep Photography as our official event photographer for this year’s Campdraft.
Van Der Stoep Photography will be capturing the action throughout the event, including competitors, runs, winners, horses, cattle and spectators over the weekend.
OFFICIAL EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY
To ensure our competitors and supporters have access to high-quality images from the event, Van Der Stoep Photography is the official photographer for Merrijig Campdraft.
We ask that professional photographers wishing to photograph or film at the event please get in touch with the Merrijig Campdraft Committee prior to the event. This helps us ensure everyone has a clear understanding of the event arrangements and allows us to look after our official photographer.
EVENT COVERAGE
Photography and videos captured by the Merrijig Campdraft Committee and our official media providers may be used by the Merrijig Campdraft for event promotion, social media, advertising, sponsor recognition and future promotional material.
We aim to showcase our competitors, horses, cattle, sponsors, volunteers and supporters in the best possible light and to capture the atmosphere of the event for everyone to enjoy.
A FRIENDLY REMINDER
We understand that there will be plenty of people taking photos and videos throughout the weekend on phones and personal cameras — we love that!
This policy is primarily to help distinguish personal photography from professional or commercial event coverage and to ensure our official photographer is supported throughout the event.
If you are a professional photographer or videographer wanting to work at the Merrijig Campdraft, please contact the Committee before the event so we can discuss the arrangements.
