Quick schedule update!! 📣

🎤 Lavender House is now playing at 4:45pm on Stage 5, replacing The Rhythm Major Band.

🎤 Bruce & Friends is now playing at 1:15pm on Stage 2, replacing Branch Station.

🎤 Stage 7 time swap: Susan Rohrabaugh is now playing at 12:30pm, and Cailiní: The American Celtic Woman Experience is now playing at 4pm.

Norcross Porchfest was on 11Alive+ this morning!! 🎉 Jonathan joined Dan Kennedy live at 9:15am to talk about the festival, and the video is now on YouTube. Just search “Norcross Porchfest” to watch!

We’re so grateful for the chance to share Norcross Porchfest with viewers across metro Atlanta and beyond. Thank you to 11Alive+ for giving this first-year festival such a wonderful platform. We can’t wait to see everyone this Saturday, May 2 from 12-6pm, rain or shine!

Rain or shine, Norcross Porchfest is on! ☀️🌧️

We’ve been getting lots of weather questions, so here’s the latest for Norcross Porchfest: Right now, the forecast shows rain in the morning, clearing around noon, just in time for Norcross Porchfest to begin.

Norcross Porchfest is a rain or shine event, and we do not plan to postpone or reschedule. If there is lightning or a heavy downpour, we may briefly pause or adjust set times to keep everyone safe.

Porch stages are a mix of covered and uncovered spaces, and most viewing areas are open-air as you move through the neighborhood. That said, Historic Downtown Norcross offers plenty of places to duck in if needed, with restaurants, shops, and gathering spots nearby. Thrasher Park also has pavilions and shaded areas that work well for light rain.

We recommend attendees dress for the weather and bring anything they may want for comfort. Performers should plan ahead as well and bring what they need to protect instruments and equipment.

As always, forecasts can change, and we’ll continue monitoring closely and share updates if anything shifts.

Plan to come out, stroll the neighborhood, and enjoy the afternoon with us! See you Saturday, May 2 from 12-6 at Norcross Porchfest in Historic Norcross.

Spring is showing up all over Norcross! Now it’s your turn 🌿🌻

We’ve partnered with BIA Charter School (right here in our community!) for the Norcross Porchfest Front Porch & Door Decorating Contest, and it’s one of the most fun ways to be part of the day!

Theme: Spring in Your Porch Step
Show us what you love about spring in Norcross: blooms, color, creativity, whatever feels like you!

How it works:
• Decorate your porch or front door
• Submit a photo by Thursday, April 30 at 5pm: https://forms.gle/ejgFSs4cY191QVAT9
• Community voting happens Saturday, May 2
• Winners announced at Norcross Porchfest

If you live within the festival zone or walking distance, you’re invited to enter the contest. You’re still welcome to decorate and join in, even if you don’t enter to win.
