Day 34 - the final day of the relay! ⭐️

The last day took us from Richmond to Windsor, with a whole bunch of different runners taking the baton to its final destination - Parallel Festival at Windsor! 🏁

At the finish line we saw a load of familiar faces from earlier on in our journey & it was a beautiful way to close this chapter at a festival that promotes inclusivity 🙋🏽‍♀️ the relays mission! 🙌🏼

Day 34 – The Final Day! 🎉🚴‍♀️🎊

It’s here. After thousands of kilometres, hundreds of smiles, and countless unforgettable moments — Relay Your Way enters its final chapter.

Today we’ll:

🚴‍♂️ Set off from Richmond, riding along the scenic Thames

🌟 Be joined by an amazing crew of participants along the route, making this final leg a true celebration of community

🎪 Arrive in Windsor just in time for the final hours of Parallel Windsor — an incredible festival of inclusion, and the perfect place to wrap up our epic journey

We’re starting the day with 2,483km completed, and just 54km to go. Let’s finish this together — strong, proud, and full of joy.

It’s the penultimate day of the relay, & we’ve had another day cycling across London to different events! 🚲 Stopping at Newham Lesiure centre & Willesden Leisure Centre to give the local active groups a chance to run around with the baton 😊

Day 33 – Final stretch energy! 🏙️⚽🛴

The baton keeps flying through London today with a mix of movement, community, and celebration — and we’re now truly on the home stretch.

Here’s what’s ahead:

💪 We’ll kick off with a Give it a Go session in Newham with Newham Council, getting everyone moving

⚽ Then on to Brent for a fantastic Disability Sports Coach session — sport, smiles and serious skills

🚶‍♀️🦽 Finally, we’ll wind our way west for a walk and wheel along the Thames in Putney, soaking in the riverside views and the journey so far

We’re starting the day at 2,428km completed, with just 109km to go. Almost there — let’s keep the joy rolling!

Today was a jam packed day & the baton passed between many a hand! 👋🏼

Rushmore Primary & The Pavilion were two great schools that welcomed us with open arms ☺️

Rushmore had a weekly basketball tournament in wheelchairs, so kids could feel what it would be like to use one.. a great initiative for boosting inclusivity!

The baton was ran in to the London Aquatic Centre today by 14 kids from Rushmore Primary.. on arrival we all witnessed a beautiful hydrotherapy session in the pool, with music, singing, splashing… 🎼🎤💦

"Day 32 – Let’s zip around London! 🚇🏊‍♂️🎶

We’re diving into Day 32 with an action-packed route across the capital — and some truly unforgettable stops along the way.

Here’s what’s coming up:

🏫 We’ll start with two school visits in Hackney, bringing the baton to young changemakers

💦 Head over to the London Aquatic Centre for a splash in the hydrotherapy pool, featuring Hydrobeatz — our amazing floating musical instrument station designed by Cerebra’s Innovation Centre

🏫 Then it's south of the river for another school visit, spreading joy and movement

🚉 And to top it all off — an incredible stop at the London Bridge Control Centre, where we’ll be teaming up with TfL to make live station announcements

We’re starting the day at 2,379km completed, with just 158km to go!

The baton takes to the water again! 🚣‍♂️🌊 We visited in East London, where a brilliant group from Hackney Council kayaked the baton all the way to the Olympic Park! A group from joined us alongside the canal too! Such a fun, unique way for the journey to continue. Huge thanks to this wonderful organisation for making it happen!

What a welcome at Marjorie McClure School! 🎉 The children lined the playground, cheered the baton around the school, and into assembly - where we were treated to the most moving performance, with some pupils signing along to the music 💛 Truly an unforgettable visit. Day 31 – London, here we go! 🏃‍♀️🏏🚣‍♂️

We’re kicking off our first day in London, and it’s going to be a big one! With sport, schools, and city energy, today promises some unforgettable moments.

Here’s what’s ahead:

🎓 A buzzing school visit to start the day

🏏 A trip to the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground to join Panathlon for an inclusive multi-sport competition

🚣‍♂️ A paddle and kayak session with Leaside Trust on the canal

🏃‍♂️ An after-work inclusive run through the heart of the city

We’re starting today with 2,331km completed and 206km to go. The end is in sight — but there’s still plenty of magic left on the route.
