Terry Fox Run Red Deer Organizers
We are the organizers for Red Deer’s Terry Fox Run. We are passionate about the work of the Terry Fox Foundation, the awareness & fundraising for cancer research that our national run brings, and of course, the celebration of the Marathon of Hope and inspiration from Terry Fox, himself. The Terry Fox Run is non-competitive & inclusive: walk, run, roll or ride - all are welcome! All 9000 runs are volunteer led & organized, which sets us apart, and allows up to 80% of all funds raised go directly to research.
““I’ve said to people before that I’m going to do my very best to make it, I’m not going to give up. But I might not make it… if I don’t, the Marathon of Hope better continue.” - Terry Fox
