The London Coaching Foundation has regenerated the old ‘Hackney Wick Community Centre’, aka ‘The Old Baths’ and created the Cre8 Life Style Centre. LFC has transformed the Art Deco building into a place where people can play and spend time together in the community as well as drawing investment and enterprise into Hackney Wick. The Cre8 Life Style Centre is a media, sports, arts and community hub

that includes a café, gallery, event space and sporting facilities. Cre8 have gathered a number of social enterprises, private businesses and local groups and individuals that offer training programmes and services. Cre8 is home to:

The Wick Festival - every Saturday from 10am featuring our new Farmers' Market, hot street food and vintage stalls. Small and large businesses including, 'The Wick Award', 'Groundwork' and any other organisations that mirror Cre8's aims and objectives. Four local football teams and counting, including Homerton Rangers. Art led school programmes and workshops led by qualified Art teachers.
'The Old Baths Gallery'. The Cre8 Arc: a temporary building made from 100% recycled material promoting permaculture, environmentalism and sustainable living aka an Earthship. A Sunday arts and crafts market. Event space for hire. Media training centre providing opportunities to young people to get a qualification in 'Creative & Digital' whilst working on jobs from actual companies looking to diversify their talent pool.

Cre8 aims to close the gap between disadvantaged groups and the wider community and reduce poverty by promoting employment opportunities through industry qualifications and actual work experience. Help residents to become better qualified and raise educational aspirations by offering trainee programmes in Event Management, Marketing, Graphic Design, Bookkeeping, Sports Coaching and Curating. Promote health and well being for all, and support independent living by offering a multitude of physical activities for all levels and abilities. Help to make people feel safe in Hackney by providing a welcoming, well designed and environmentally conscious space open to all. Provide a well balanced programme of play activities which produce a range and diversity of choice for children and encourages creativity via youth programs and workshops. Be a sustainable community where people take pride in and take care of Hackney and it’s environment for future generations by regenerating The Old Baths into a vibrant community space as well as building the Cre8 Arc (100% recycled temporary building). Promote mixed communities through the provision of inter-generational activities and working to ensure the local artist community and local population have more shared activities. To provide fair access to first class public services in Hackney and provide value for money for local residents and businesses. Constantly improve the way we listen to residents and respond to service users’ feedback to improve services by engaging fully with visitors, monitoring feedback and reacting to demand for services. As well as staging open meetings where the public can contribute to the design of Cre8 programmes, offerings and space. Foster good relations by building a strong sense of community, neighbourliness and pride. To galvanize and attract investment and support to The Hackney Wick area.
