QDoc Film Festival

QDoc Film Festival QDoc: the only film festival in the world dedicated to LGBTQ+ documentaries and their makers

A uniquely anticipated highlight of Portland's cultural calendar, QDoc Film Fest is the only film festival in North America (and one of only two in the world) devoted specifically to LGBTQ+ documentaries. Over a 3-day period each Fall, the festival brings carefully curated films and their makers to The Hollywood Theatre. An equal amount of directors, subjects, and producers attend and participate

in intimate, post-film Q&As. It continues to be a critical time to elevate, celebrate, and support LGBTQ+ stories, voices, and creators and each year we look forward to presenting a diverse lineup of films and their talented filmmakers as well as gathering with our community. There is nothing quite like being together and seeing our identities represented on screen, building that sense of shared humanity.
