Tahoe Bouldering Competition

Tahoe Bouldering Competition Tahoe Climbing Festival and Meyers Bouldering Competition Over 100 climbs will be included in the competition ranging from V0 to V12.

Some of the best developed climbing in South Lake Tahoe is on the numerous granite boulders scattered throughout the community of Meyers. Limited guides will be included in the competition format. Scoring format will be top 5 toward final score. Catagories:
Beginner Female (V0-V2)
Intermediate Female (V3-V5)
Open Female (V6 and up)
Beginner Male (V0-V2)
Intermediate Male (V3-V6)
Open Male (V7 and

up)

We have specifically designed the contest for all ability levels, to make this event fun for the beginner or the pro. It's a great excuse to pull, push, and cheer, while climbers test their ability on the scenic granite boulders.

Hi everyone,

Sadly, this year's bouldering competition will be cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Your safety is paramount, and physical distancing would be nearly impossible with the current event model.

We hope that we will be able to host the event in 2021, and we will re-evaluate the possibility of this early next year. In the meantime, stay safe, practice physical distancing, wear a mask, and follow local ordinances to flatten the curve.

One thing we pride ourselves in is being a "kid-friendly" competition that promotes families to climb together. Kid-friendly means areas with easy approaches, flat landings, and climbs that are not reachy. Here is a preview of our climbing areas this year and those that are kid-friendly:
