Fun Fact: The terms "gargoyle" and "gargle" sound similar because both share a root word meaning "to swallow". "Gargoyle" itself is derived from a French word for "throat", as all gargoyles by definition are at the ends of rainwater spouts where they spew water out away from the building, usually through their mouths.

DRINKING TRIVIA! Did you know that a "pint" can have wildly different volumes depending on where you are and what language you speak?
- In the US, it's 1/8 of a gallon
- In the UK, it's 568 ml, which is about 20% larger than an American pint
- In Canada, if you order "a pint of beer", it will be the same size as in the UK
- BUT if you're speaking French and order "une pinte de bière", Canadian law dictates that you must be served DOUBLE that size, or 1,136ml because a "pinte" is different from a "pint"
- In South Australia, a pint is either larger or smaller than US pints (16oz), depending on if it's a "pint" (15oz) or an "Imperial pint" (20oz)

The saying "a pint's a pound the world around" is roughly true in America, where a pint of water weighs 1.04 pounds, but in a bunch of former British colonies, it's "a pint of water weighs a pound and a quarter" because an Imperial pint of water weighs 1.25 pounds.
