🐶 FAQ — What You Need to Know
What is Fetch all about? The name Fetch has a double meaning:
Fetch, like going out to "fetch" something local — with energy, excitement, and purpose. We’re all about bringing local makers to the community. It’s also a cheeky nod to Mean Girls — yes, we’re trying to make “fetch” happen. Because supporting small businesses, hanging with dogs, and creating a fun, welcoming vibe is actually so fetch. 💁♀️🐾
📍 Where do you host markets? Mainly in Orléans once a month, with occasional events in the west end of Ottawa.
⏰ What time are events? Usually 10 AM – 3 PM, with some night markets from 4 PM – 9 PM coming up!
🎨 What kind of vendors are there? Only handcrafted vendors — we’re all about supporting local artisans, creators, and small businesses. Expect everything from jewelry, baked goods, soaps, crochet, books, apparel, and more. It’s not just dog products — it’s a full local shopping experience!
🐕 Can I bring my dog? Our events are dog-friendly for well-behaved, leashed dogs. We work with rescues, offer nail trims and photos, and make sure your furry friend is part of the fun. 🐶
🚗 Where do I park? If you’re coming to Shenkman Arts Centre, there's parking behind the building and more at the Orléans Centrum complex next door.
🌧️ What if it rains? Our events are rain or shine. In case of extreme weather, we’ll post updates on our socials — so keep an eye there for any changes.
