Want customers lined up before Dec 12?
Get your child featured on our Instagram and page!

Today we started featuring our young vendors on Kindraza's Instagram — and we want YOUR child to be one of them.

Why bother?

When we feature a business, hundreds of local Toronto parents see it *before* the fair. They arrive at Fort York already knowing your child's name and products — and many will come looking for their booth on purpose. It's free advertising for your child's business, and it often means sales before market day even begins. The vendors who get featured always get more foot traffic.

Getting featured is easy — pick whichever option works for your family:

Option 1 — Short video
(30–60 seconds, phone held upright/vertical): your child showing their products, talking about their business, or both. Whatever feels natural!

Option 2 — Photo
One nice photo of the products (with your logo on it if you have one!)

+ story:
plus a few sentences about your young entrepreneur — who they are, business name, what they sell, why they started, and one fun or interesting fact.

Three quick tips for either option:
- Good light and a tidy background make everything look better
- Show the finished products looking their best
- For video: hold the phone vertically — Instagram shows vertical video much bigger

No face needed in either option — hands and products only is perfectly fine. Every young entrepreneur deserves a spotlight.

If the business has its own Instagram page, send us the name and we'll tag it!

Send everything to [email protected] or DM us on Instagram

We can't wait to show Toronto what your young entrepreneurs have been creating!

Warmly,
Kindraza Team

➡️Not another after school program
Kindraza’s Wayfinders Club: a real-life community where teens 12–15 work on entrepreneurial projects, make friends, earn their first income, take on responsibility, get out into the real world together and learn that the most meaningful gratification takes time, effort, and patience.

❌Today’s teens don’t need more information, another class, or another app.

🙌They need real-life experiences in a safe, mentor-guided community of motivated peers, where they work together on meaningful projects, encourage each other, take on real responsibility, and keep moving forward without another lecture telling them what they should do.

🔥They need opportunities to practice independence, build real confidence, communicate with others, handle frustration, persist through challenges, and experience the satisfaction of earning something they genuinely value.

🧠✨Youth entrepreneurship is one powerful way to create these opportunities.

𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 all while building lasting friendships and great memories before the high-stakes high school years hit — this is Wayfinders.
Adolescence is not a waiting room for adulthood, it is a critical period when identity, habits, confidence, and ways of thinking are shaped. Yet many young people have limited opportunities to practice real-world skills beyond the classroom.

The Kindraza Wayfinders Club is an immersive entrepreneurship incubator right here in Toronto at Bathurst & Queen’s Quay W. We guide tweens and teens out of their comfort zones and into their power.

Stop worrying about their lack of motivation. Give them a reason to put the phone down.

Dear Parents, this message is for you!

Thank you for believing in your children! We believe that each child has a gift that can change the world in a profound way. We hope we can help your child continue to learn that they can do hard things, be accountable, and, most importantly, find their calling in life that will help them change the world.

✨Guidelines for Parents and Guardians✨

Parents of younger children may sit in their booth, but the children are to be responsible for the setup, sales and interacting with the customers. This event is designed to give children a taste of selling a product. Please let them have that experience.

⚠️Any parent seen selling to the customer or promoting the child’s product will result in disqualification from the competition.

🌱Guardians Five “Smooth Stones” – Principles to Keep in Mind:

🔵Wonder
There are so many opportunities. Allow your child the gift of wonder. Ask open-ended questions.
🔵 Industriousness
Allow your child the gift of seeing the fruit of hard work.
🔵 Responsibility
Treat your child as the sole owner. Let the child make the plans and the decisions as much aspossible.
🔵 Encouragement
Provide encouraging communication.
🔵 Enthusiasm
Provide passion for the Children’s Business Fair.

👀👉Five Warnings

✨Parents tend to make children’s events too stressful. What is needed from parents are clear boundaries and backstage organization. Then, let the children flourish. This is not about you, it is about the child.

✨Parents can make children’s events too complicated. This is not Shark Tank or a business plan competition. You do not need business plans with five-year projections.

✨Parents tend to get ahead of their children in passion. There is great value in your child not getting everything done in time. This will help them learn. Make sure they create a product or service they are excited about. Remember the parental adage that “there is blessing in a skinned knee.”

✨Parents tend to get ahead of children in competitiveness. Your role is not to be Elon Musk, a business school professor, or a venture capitalist.

✨Parents tend to rob children of the joy of hard work. Do not do the work for the children. If the product or service looks messy, that is ok; in fact, that is great!

✨Encourage your children to make a good product or service, but never take the role of a business board, manager or owner. Do not rob the work environment of joy by prodding or criticizing. You child is Chairman, CEO, and owner. Let your child be those things.

🙌Thank you again for being a part of this remarkable event!

Sincerely,

Kindraza- Toronto Children’s Business Fair Team
