OFFICIAL NOTICE: WOODSTOCK JUNGLE CAMP FESTIVAL CANCELLATION
(Hiền Hào, Cát Bà Island · June 28 & 29, 2025)
Dear Woodstock Community,
With deep regret, we must cancel Woodstock Jungle Camp this weekend due to unavoidable regulatory changes impacting our venue in Hiền Hào.
Why is this happening?
Our property lies near Cát Bà National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and new government mandates now require all structures in the area to be built exclusively with organic materials (no brick, metal, or synthetic materials). Unfortunately, parts of our current infrastructure—including dorms and staff housing—do not meet these standards and must be demolished by June 30th.
Additionally, local authorities have expressed concerns about large-scale events potentially disturbing the park’s protected flora and fauna. While we believe sustainable festivals can coexist with conservation, we respect these regulations and are committed to adapting.
What’s Next?
Immediate Refunds: Full ticket reimbursements processed within 7 business days.
Rebuilding Responsibly: We’re already designing a 100% eco-compliant venue using approved materials—stay tuned for blueprints!
Future Collaboration: We’re in dialogue with the new island leadership to align our events with conservation goals.
This is a setback, but not an end. Woodstock will return—greener, stronger, and more harmonious with this paradise we cherish.
