Team Black Mentorship

Team Black Mentorship Youth Mentorship Weight training is the nucleus in which sound mechanics are taught along with leading young (and some older) individuals to be accountable.

Founded in 2013, TBM has two approaches; first is one on one, generally on Saturday’s for a few hours at a local fitness facility in Oklahoma City. Confidence is a major attribute that is lacking in society today. Too often, an “everybody gets a trophy” option is encouraged while neglecting to use a “set back” as an opportunity for a “come back” thus missing out on someone learning to deal with no

t winning. Secondly is TBM’s “Live Mentoring Events” combining strength exhibitions, live music, and inspiring speakers as a well-designed approach to connect with those who may be searching for guidance. .

Words can not express enough what blessing it’s been to coach these 5 Seniors thru their brief powerlifting career. They have selflessly laid the foundation and put their footprint on this group. They have been a part of a state title and back to back National Championships. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them as they move forward in their lives.
