Jill LeVake is a respected agricultural professional with nearly 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, and government affairs with Corteva Agriscience. Beyond her professional career, Jill is deeply committed to youth development and agricultural education. She serves as a Franklin 4-H Community Leader, Sheep Project Leader, and Dog Project Leader, while also contributing her time to numerous agricultural leadership organizations and advocating for agricultural education and youth opportunities throughout California. Jill, her husband Daniel, and their three children—Reed, Eva, and Claire—remain actively involved in 4-H and FFA, participating in livestock projects, leadership development, and agricultural education programs that help strengthen the next generation of agricultural leaders.

⭐ Board Spotlight: Erin Cucchi ⭐

Erin Cucchi, Board Director of the Yuba-Sutter Fair, has spent 28 years serving the agricultural industry as West Region Area Claims Manager for AgriSompo. She is also a California 4-H Foundation Board Member, Junior Livestock Auction Committee Chairperson, and has dedicated 32 years as a Franklin 4-H Leader.

A lifelong advocate for youth development and agriculture, Erin continues a family legacy of service—her grandmother was the first woman to serve on the Yuba-Sutter Fair Board.

YUBA-SUTTER FAIR BOARD OF DIRECTOR SPOTLIGHT

Karm Bains is a fourth-generation farmer and lifelong Yuba-Sutter resident, Karm has dedicated decades to public service and community leadership. He has served as a Planning Commissioner, Economic Development Director for Yuba City, member of the Sutter County Board of Education, and on numerous local and statewide boards, including the Yuba-Sutter Fair Board and California’s 13th District Agricultural Association. Karm also made history as the first Sikh elected County Supervisor in the nation, proudly representing Sutter County’s District 4.

Thank you, Karm, for your continued leadership, dedication to agriculture, and commitment to preserving the traditions and opportunities that make the Yuba-Sutter Fair a cornerstone in our community.

It takes a lot of hard work behind the scenes to get ready for Fair week, and today was a perfect example of what makes our Fair community so special.

Randy, who retired from the Yuba-Sutter Fair maintenance department last year, volunteered his time to help hang lights and prepare the grounds alongside Todd. And, as usual, CEO Dave Dillabo was right there too—wearing one of his many hats and pitching in wherever needed.

The Fair is built by people who care deeply about this community, and we’re grateful for the dedication, teamwork, and pride that continue to shine year after year.

Thank you, Randy, Todd, and Dave, for helping make the Yuba-Sutter Fair shine a little brighter! ✨🎡❤️
