We are currently seeking student, and recent graduate submissions, for the first annual Screen. festival, a one-day festival, featuring both student and professional screendances. The deadline is September 16, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. The submissions will be adjudicated and notifications will be sent September 30. Showing will take place on Saturday, October 7, at Riverside Art Center, 76 North Huron Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan. There is no submission fee for student films this first year. Submission Criteria:
Submissions are limited to screendances made by undergraduate, graduate and recent graduate students. Submissions must have been made within the last 3 years. Short screendance films can explore any topic, genre or format, but should not be a documentary. Entry is free this year. There is no charge to submit. Documentaries and recorded stage productions will not be accepted. Only one contact person per film entry. All submissions must be in final form; no works in progress
