"Just what is an Artists Crawl, anyway?"

Unlike a Gallery Crawl, where people visit a list of galleries and see the artists' work, the Artists Crawl is for artists to walk around a curated list of sites and create to their heart's content. This is an event that's for artists, by artists! It's a making event!

"Wait! I'm not an artist but I want to participate!"

Awesome! You don't have to be a pro to participate! Do you like to draw? Take photos? Write poems? Fingerpaint? Cool. You're an artist and we would LOVE to have you participate!

"No, I mean I don't even draw a stick figure. I don't take photos and I'm clueless about art."

Then you are in for a treat! Come downtown (no ticket necessary) and watch the artists at work! You can participate by offering encouragement, visiting the local shops, and voting in our online art contest post-event. There's even an in-person show that will be happening June 3rd that you are invited to!

That's it! Tell your friends, invite your neighbors--let's get the community talking about how BEAUTIFUL historic York, SC is!

ONLINE ART GALLERY & COMPETITION
Fall 2021

Voting runs now through Sunday, October 3rd.

Show these artists some love and cast your votes! Each “like” on an image counts as a vote for that piece. You can vote for as many images as you choose, but we encourage casting at least three votes, one each for your choices for first, second, and third place images.

-Prizes are as follows:
First Prize: $100 gift card to Betwixt Studios
Second Prize: $50 gift card to Betwixt Studios
Third Prize: $25 gift card to Betwixt Studios

-Rules:
.Winners can only win one prize. Once they have won a prize, they are removed from consideration for the subsequent prizes.
Voters are cast by “liking” an image. Voters can vote for as many images as they like.
Winners are chosen by the images with the most “likes.”
In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the total number of “likes” for all of the images submitted by the artist.

Our Online Art Competition goes live tomorrow! 🎉🎉🎉

Some of the artists from the Fall 2021 Historic Yorkville Artists Crawl will be sharing images created during the crawl for YOU to vote and choose the winners!

Share the page with your friends for them to like/follow and join in on the fun! Voting runs tomorrow, October 1st, through Sunday, October 3rd. Anyone and everyone is welcome to vote! The more, the merrier 🙂

Help us choose the winners by “liking” three of your favorite images. Each “like” counts as a vote for that image. The top three artists will win prizes sponsored by Betwixt Studios.
