The 60th Anniversary of the Yarmouth Clam Festival was one for the books, and we couldn’t have done it without this incredible community!
From (almost) perfect weather to powerful moments of teamwork and generosity, this year’s festival was a reminder of why this time-honored tradition endures.
As we continue to work through reconciling the festival, we want to take a moment to say thank you:
To the volunteers -- you are the heartbeat of the Clam Festival. From setup to teardown, from managing booths to stepping in when things got hectic (especially during Sunday’s evacuation), your dedication and resilience ensured a fun, safe and successful event for all. Your work supports the many non-profits that make Yarmouth such a vibrant place, and we are deeply grateful.
To our vendors and sponsors -- thank you for funding critical pieces of this festival! Since the Chamber is not eligible for grants and cannot accept donations, your sponsorship truly makes the Clam Festival possible. Businesses showed up with enthusiasm and commitment and were key to making this event a success.
To the 130+ artisans -- we’re honored you chose Clam Fest from among the many events in Maine. Thank you for sharing your work and creativity with our community.
To the performers and competitors—you filled the festival with energy, joy, and inspiration. Whether you sang, played, juggled, or devoured pie, your talent and spirit defined the weekend.
To the Town of Yarmouth staff, Public Works, and our public safety partners, Yarmouth Fire-Rescue, Police Department, and EPS Security, we are especially grateful for your months of behind-the-scenes planning and on-the-ground coordination that ensured thousands could enjoy the festival safely.
To our attendees—thank you for showing up, again and again. Your presence, traditions, and support are what fuel this community. We hope the festival gave you joy, connection, and unforgettable memories.
There are so many additional people to thank by name, but please know if you contributed in any way, whether for an hour or a full week, this festival happened because of you.
It’ll be a few weeks before fundraising totals are finalized, but early indicators suggest a successful outcome for many of our local nonprofits. Thank you for being part of this incredible weekend, and we can't wait do it all again next summer, July 17-19th, 2026!
