Happy Pride Month! This June, we celebrate our LGBTQ+ community and our ongoing journey for equality. But did you know Pride Month has its roots in activism?

In 1969, the Stonewall Riots in New York City marked a turning point. Following a police raid on a gay bar, patrons fought back, sparking a movement for LGBTQ+ rights. Today, Pride parades and celebrations honor those brave individuals and our continuing fight for equality.
