MFP has a great leadership opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our Team! Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Manage all personnel in manufacturing, including Supervisors and hourly team members. Collaborate with Scheduling, Engineering, and Sales.
• Manage maintenance and PM activities.
• Manage and run the plant safety program.
• Manage and run the plant quality program.
• Drive lean manufacturing and 5S principles in the operation of the facility.
• Plan, develop, and implement new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
• Utilize the manufacturing management system (Shoptech E2) to measure plant performance metrics.
• Participate in capital planning and project management.
• A positive attitude with great leadership and communication skills.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience (5+ in a leadership role)
• Computer literacy
• Experience in team building
• Problem solving skills (5 Why, 8D, etc.)
• Engineering or Business degree (preferred)
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (plus)
