We handed out a lot of awards this year, some fun, some paying homage to past festival favorites, and some that came with serious prize money.

As always, it was incredibly tough to choose our top films. Every submission brought something unique and thrilling to the screen, but here are the winners we selected this year:

4th Place – A Grave Situation by Adam Goad
3rd Place – Puzzle by Sébastien Roignant
2nd Place – CAROUSEL by Christopher Kosakowski
1st Place – Paspocalypse by Jasper ten Hoor and Ivan Hidayat

A huge thank you to all the amazing directors who submitted films this year. You’re the heart of the Island of Horror Film Fest, and you make this event what it is every single year.

An appreciation post for our amazing vendors! You guys absolutely crushed it. Thank you so much for spending the day with us, keeping everyone fueled, caffeinated, and spooky in style. The festival wouldn’t have been the same without you!

We know, we know… these festival posts are a little late. But when you collect 283 souls in one night, it takes a while to sort them all out!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made this year’s Island of Horror Film Fest our biggest one yet! With 283 attendees, we officially outgrew our previous location, Cadby Theatre.

Last year, about 80 brave souls joined us, so to nearly quadruple that number this year is absolutely terrifying in the best way possible. Thank you all for the screams, the laughs, and the love. We can’t wait to continue gathering your feedback and wrap up another fantastic year of frights!

Here is our OFFICIAL vendor lineup for the fourth annual Island of Horror Film Fest! We’ve had a few small changes since our last announcement, but this list is now locked in, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome these amazing vendors on November 1st!

OFFICIAL ISLAND OF HORROR SCHEDULE - NOVEMBER 1ST

We recently shared all the categories for this year’s selected films, and now, here’s when they’ll hit the screen!

Our programming runs all day from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and while times are approximate, this schedule is your best guide for catching your favorite category or seeing your own film light up the big screen.

Just like in years past, the Island of Horror Film Fest will feature three screening rooms showing films all day long, including our main theater, “The Todd,” and two breakout rooms!

In this post, you can check out which room your film will be playing in on November 1st. Stay tuned, we’ll be sharing another post soon with the full schedule for when each category will be shown at the festival.

We’re so excited to see everyone there! If you or anyone from your film’s cast or crew plans to attend, please reach out. We’d love to know!

IT'S TIME TO ANNOUNCE OUR OFFICIAL SELECTIONS FOR THE 2025 LIVE PREMIERE!

It wasn’t easy, but we’ve reached our final decisions on the films that will join us for the fourth annual Island of Horror Film Fest on November 1st!

All submitters will receive an official confirmation email from our Festival Director via FilmFreeway by 11:59 PM on October 8th.
