Greetings! An Update from Northeast Dungeon Siege
We wanted to share an update with everyone as we look ahead to 2026. After looking at the landscape of events, the reality of our organizers handling competing priorities in our personal lives, and changes to our core team - we’ve made the decision that we will skip Northeast Dungeon Siege this year as we restructure to come back strong for 2027. To this end, email [email protected] if you would like to volunteer for 2027!
When we began NEDS the goal was to promote Dungeon Synth as a viable avenue of performance art and, to our delight, the wider community has responded with zeal, leaving us with myriad events to enjoy. We encourage folks to support some of these incredible gatherings happening in the United States this year:
Woodland Fortresses - an immersive camping festival in Washington, set deep in the woods; conceptualized and run by members of the same team that previously organized Dungeon Siege West
Great Lakes Dunge Siege - this gathering of midwestern (and beyond) DS artists in Detroit continues to be a cornerstone of the US festival landscape
Distant Stronghold - the celebrates their 10th anniversary with a fest that highlights some of their most popular artists in beautiful Portland, Maine
Even though the main Siege is resting, this isn’t a year of silence in Worcester…
We’re bringing back the Dungeon Skirmish! Starting in February 2026, the Dungeon Skirmish will be a monthly, in-person gathering at The Raven that mixes a low-key vibe of listening to DS (DJ’d by Phranick of Sombre Arcane who will also perform a short residency set) with two live performances each night. We have 3 wonderful lineups prepared already for February, March and April:
February 28th - Vaelestraz and Unsheathed Glory
March 28th - Pumpkin Witch and Ozeregroth
April 25th - Malfet and Hermit Knight
Email [email protected] if you’d like to be considered for future events or want to volunteer
Thank you for sticking with us, supporting the festivals and local shows that keep this music alive, and being part of what makes this community what it is
