There’s nothing quite like rabbit showing at the Wayne County Fair! From early mornings and months of preparation to showmanship in the ring, our exhibitors put in the time, patience, and dedication to care for their rabbits and show them off proudly. 💚

These little animals may be small, but the hard work behind them is anything but! 🐇👏
Congratulations to all of our rabbit exhibitors on a great week, and a huge thank you to the families, advisors, judges, and volunteers who help make the rabbit show possible!
We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone hop back into the ring next year! 🐰🎡

From planning and preparing months in advance to long days at the fairgrounds, solving problems behind the scenes, keeping things moving, and making sure our fairgoers have a great experience. We appreciate every single one of you!

Your time, hard work, dedication, and love for the Wayne County Fair are what make this tradition so special year after year. ❤️

Did you check out the Jacob Sheep? 🐏

With an estimated global population of less than 5,000 the American-style Jacob Sheep is classified as Threatened by The Livestock Conservancy!

The Breed received the name "Jacob Sheep" based on Genesis, where Jacob talks about leaving his father-in-law Laban's home and taking part of the flock as his payment for years of service. "I will pass through all thy flock today, removing from thence every speckled and spotted one, and every dark one among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats; and of such shall be my hire," he is quoted saying in Genesis 30:32
