The Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival has been sponsored annually since 1972 on Labor Day Weekend by the Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music, a non-profit organization based in Delaware whose mission is the presentation and preservation of traditional American music.

Get ready for some hard-driving string band music! We are so excited to welcome Steam Machine to the 2026 Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival lineup!

Steam Machine masterfully bridges the gap between traditional old-time and early bluegrass, bringing a powerful energy to the stage that practically demands you get up and dance.

To give you a taste of what they do best, check out their performance of "Dailey's Reel" below. This beautiful tune, in our opinion, is not played nearly enough - maybe because it is a real finger-twister in the key of Bb! You can literally see award-winning fiddler AJ Srubas' pinky-finger workout happening on the fretboard.

Award-winning vocals, blazing flatpicking, and a true bluegrass legend! We are incredibly honored to have Special Consensus joining us for the 2026 Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival!

Here is a reminder of why this band is a must-see, just listen to their lead singer and guitarist, Greg Blake. Greg recently took home the 2025 IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year award, and as you'll hear in the clip below, he is truly a "singer's singer." But don't just focus on on his rhythm guitar playing—make sure you catch his incredible flatpicking break right in the middle of this song!

We are also incredibly excited to continue to celebrate the band's founder and banjo master, Greg Cahill, don't forget to wish him a happy birthday this year when you see him at the festival! 🎂 Let's give him and all the Special C a massive DelVal welcome this September.

Double the talent, double the tradition! Please join us in welcoming The Price Sisters to the 2026 Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival!

Lauren and Leanna Price are keeping the "ancient tones" alive with a sound that is pure, driving bluegrass. If you're a fan of those classic Bill Monroe licks, check out Lauren’s incredible work on the mandolin—especially that killer kick-off in the YouTube video below. She has absolutely nailed that high-energy, traditional style.

Paired with Leanna’s soaring fiddle and their signature twin harmony, their set is going to be a masterclass in the roots of the genre.
