Woodstock Summer Concert Series

Woodstock Mayor Michael Caldwell announced the lineup of the Woodstock Summer Concert Series as part of his 2026 State of the City address Friday, January 30 at Woodstock City Church.

“What started as a modest show under the stars by the gazebo 27 years ago has grown into the largest free concert series in the south, and 2025’s shows broke all of our records,” said Mayor Caldwell. “Our largest show last year delivered more than 16,400 attendees, roughly half of the population of our city, to an amphitheater covering roughly two and a half acres. This is a city that knows how to play.”

On Saturday, May 9th, Black Jacket Symphony returns to the Northside Hospital Cherokee Amphitheater to open the 2026 season presenting Bon Jovi’s Slippery When Wet and other hits. On June 13th, Grammy, ACM, CMA and CMT award-winning country star Carly Pearce takes the stage to share her authentic storytelling and powerhouse vocals. At the third concert in the series on July 11th, legendary R&B and funk powerhouse Midnight Star will captivate downtown Woodstock with their signature blend of infectious grooves and soulful melodies. On August 8th, the Pop 2000 Tour with Chris Kirkpatrick of NSYNC, O-Town, and LFO will bring you right back to the early 2000s. For the final show of the season on September 12th, electrifying Elton John and Billy Joel tribute band Face 2 Face will pay homage to the two iconic piano legends.

“From classic rock anthems to country royalty and the best party music of the last three decades, this is going to be the biggest season yet,” said Mayor Caldwell.

The Woodstock Summer Concert Series is one of the Southeast’s premier live music events, offering unforgettable performances in the heart of downtown Woodstock. What began as a handful of shows at the city gazebo has grown into the largest free concert series in the region, drawing thousands of fans to the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater each season. Featuring nationally recognized artists across a variety of genres, the series delivers world-class entertainment in a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere that truly embodies the spirit of Woodstock.

WOW! We broke a record together on Saturday night!!

The City of Woodstock has exciting news to share about the Woodstock Summer Concert Series. The July 12th concert featuring multi-platinum country music singer/songwriter Josh Turner brought 16,235 concert goers to downtown Woodstock – the highest recorded attendance ever at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater.

Prior to Saturday’s packed show, the 2018 concert featuring rock band 38 Special held the record for highest recorded attendance with 15,900 fans at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater. In 2023, Grammy Award winning singer and actor Rick Springfield put on a fantastic show where 14,300 fans were in attendance. Since 1998, Woodstock Summer Concert Series has brought thousands of fans to downtown Woodstock each summer to enjoy a diverse variety of music from iconic original artists and energetic tribute acts.

Data on Woodstock Summer Concert Series is provided by Woodstock Office of Economic Development utilizing location analytics platform Placer.ai. The platform analyzes foot traffic data to provide insights helping to manage the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize operations. Woodstock Office of Economic Development also utilizes Placer.ai to provide new and expanding businesses in Woodstock with assistance in site selection as well as insights into consumer behavior and market trends.

On Saturday, August 9th, Woodstock Summer Concert Series presents 10,000 Maniacs and on Saturday, September 13th, Pink Floyd tribute Interstellar Echoes will close out the season.
