Volunteers needed and appreciated!
Just one week until we kick off the Woodside Spring Horse Trials, May 23rd – 26th.! Please help the event be a success for all by volunteering for the Dressage, Cross Country or Stadium Jumping phases of the competition.
How to Sign Up:
We will be continuing to use the official USEA volunteer sign up website this year. This site allows volunteers to log their volunteer time and qualify for recognition awards, and also provides lots of great information and training aids for volunteers. If you are visiting the site for the first time to sign up as a volunteer you will be asked to create a login and profile before accessing the site, this is a very easy step and will only need to be done once.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the website. And if you prefer not to use it but would rather have us add you to the volunteer list, please reach out to any of the volunteer coordinators (listed below and CC'd here) and we would be happy to do so.
In case the above link doesn't work, you can copy and paste this url into your browser: https://www.eventingvolunteers.com/events/3228/signup
***Please note that the division times currently listed on the website are only tentative and will be confirmed one week before the event.***
What Do You Get?
You mean besides the satisfaction of knowing that you're helping sustain the sport you love while watching majestic animals and talented riders partner in a beautiful location with great weather?
Hard to believe it...but there's more!
The Horse Park at Woodside issues certificates that volunteers can use to help pay for recognized horse trials, schooling shows, and XC schooling at the Horse Park. You'll receive a certificate for $80 for a full day, $40 for a half day, and $15 for a quarter day of volunteering. Certificates must be used within 24 months.
Share With Your Friends!
We are always looking for new volunteers and no prior experience is necessary. It's a fun way to get outside, enjoy the beautiful Horse Park at Woodside, and watch fun competition while supporting eventing! So please feel free to forward this email to anyone you know who might be interested in helping out.
Thank you for your ongoing support for eventing at the Horse Park at Woodside!
