Nexus Nebula: Scorpio Rising
If you've been watching us build Nexus Nebula, you already know this isn't just another festival. It's family to us, something so sacred and sweet.
If you haven't been watching… this is your invitation.
Tickets are officially moving, and every ticket purchased is helping us build something that is so much bigger than a weekend of music. When you buy a ticket to Nexus, you're helping create a space where artists can be seen, musicians have a platform, workshops can happen, performers can create, vendors can make an appearance, and people who don't always feel like they fit into the ordinary world can come together and feel at home.
This is a community-built festival. Your ticket helps us cover the very real things that make the magic possible, event insurance, safety and security, medical support, sanitation, production, stages, sound, artists, performers, infrastructure, workshops, and all the behind-the-scenes pieces that nobody sees when they're standing under the stars listening to music.
But what you're getting in return? A whole universe. Built by each and every one of US. You included.
Three days at The Golden Grove, surrounded by music, art, weirdness, laughter, creativity, healing, movement, fire, community, and people who are just as excited to experience something different as you are.
You'll have:
-Live music on the Antares Main Stage by Alyce Drive, Dawn Loves Nash, Selah Samarah Freedom from the Fall, Joshua Buck Owens, Sly David, Vicar Green, Devils in Disguise, Thunderbird Jess, Carteret Banks, Mushroom Herders, Todd Sargent and Jaime Blanco.
- Open jams where the music doesn't stop when the scheduled sets are over.
-The Graffias Side Stage with workshops, sound baths, yoga, drum ceremonies, laughter, freakshows and other experiences that don't fit neatly into a traditional festival box.
-The Shaula DJ Stage keeping the energy moving late into the night and into the sunrise.
-A Saturday night firewalk.
-Flow arts, fire performances, wellness workshops, vendor workshops, characters, walk-around performers and surprises throughout the weekend.
And honestly.... some of the best parts won't be on the schedule at all. They're going to be the conversations you have with strangers at 2 AM. The new person you meet around the fire. The musician you end up jamming with and plannijg future hangouts. The weird little interaction that somehow becomes a lifelong memory, or even a song! The moment you realize you've been surrounded by people who actually get you.
We didn't choose Scorpio Rising simply because it sounded cool. Nexus has always been about evolution. Every version of this festival has taught us something. Every theme has taken us somewhere new. And Scorpio represents the part of that journey where we shed what we've outgrown and step into something deeper.
Scorpio is transformation. Death and rebirth. The shedding of an old skin. Going underground, finding what is real, and coming back changed. That's what this transition means for Nexus. We're not abandoning what we've built. We're transforming it. We're taking everything we've learned, everything we've created, everyone we've met, and every beautiful weird little piece of this community and carrying it forward into something stronger.
Scorpio Rising is about transformation through connection. It's about getting uncomfortable enough to grow. It's about letting the old version of yourself die without being afraid of who you'll become afterward. And that's really what Nexus has always been to us. A place where you can show up exactly as you are… and maybe leave as someone a little more yourself.
So if you've been saying "I really want to come this year," this is your sign. I mean you already read all those words, you must want to.
